From minutes of Yatton Parish Council Mon 3rd September 2018:
“RESOLVED: that councillors recommend supporting application 18/P/3659/FUH & 18/P/3660/LBC for the following reasons.
Reasons for Recommendation. The Parish Council are supportive of this development as it compatible with the Claverham Neighbourhood Plan and were also please to see that the developer has responded to the objections of residents and the Parish Council and have left the May Field and North Field undeveloped.
There was only limited impact of the development on the street scene and the design and use of the listed buildings on the site were considered to be very well done. The dwellings overall could have included rather more variety in their design and the use of limestone included as it was the stone which was local to the area. It was noted that the risks assessed on contaminated ground were designated as moderate and the proposed mitigation for this was deemed as rather vague. In light of this it is important that barriers are insisted upon and once implemented regularly inspected to ensure that the mitigation remains robust.”
The official date for comments has now passed. However the planning department try to take late comments into account when making our decision as long as they are received more than two working days before the decision is made. The decision is expected 5th October 2018.
